Fluorosint® is the mainly PTFE (Reinforced Poytetrafluorethylene) based manufactured goods. It has unique properties which is the result of proprietary process. In proprietary process, mica (synthetically manufactured) is chemically bonded to PTFE and the bonding outcomes into load carrying potential and thermal expansion rate which is not effectively attainable in reinforced PTFE.
Major characteristics of Fluorosint are:-
• maximum tolerable service temperature (continuously 260°C) in air
• very effective hydrolysis and chemical resistance
• good quality wear resistance
• excellent dimensional stability
• outstanding electrical insulating properties and weather resistance
FLUOROSINT 500 (ivory) (PTFE + mica)
It has nine times more resistance than unfilled PTFE to deformation under load. Its linear thermal expansion‘s coefficient approaches to the aluminum’s the expansion rate and is 1/5 of the virgin PTFE. It is significantly harder than the virgin PTFE and has superior the wear characteristics and maintains the low frictional properties.
FLUOROSINT 207 (white) (PTFE + mica)
It provides excellent chemical and hydrolysis resistance, by which many application possibilities open in medical industries, pharmaceutical and food.
It is used in many demanding applications including:
? Labyrinth seals and shrouds
? Dishwasher arm bearings
? Transmission and power steering seal rings
? Valve seats
