CE compliance has become a must for any consumer good being launched in the market in the recent times. It is a standard accepted globally as a means of declaring that the product has been approved and is at par with the best in terms of its quality and it’s grading.
CE certified goods have a certain edge over other products in the market as people generally prefer to buy the CE certified goods. This is because the CE mark ensures them durability, safety and value for money. CE certification is slowly being made mandatory by law and soon products which do not adhere to the set standards will not be allowed to enter the market.
If a product or equipment is CE compliant, the manufacturer should make it a point to make a declaration of conformity on the product by means of a label on the item itself or a note on the package, unless this is done, the general public will not come to know of the adherence to CE and will judge the product to be at par with the other products present in the market. Also, the note and the label given should be compliant to the rules and the language must be suitable for use in that country.
